The Staff

Volunteers, Officials, and Scorers (and racers),

I want to give a HUGE thank you for the volunteers that have helped make my races happen! This starts with my family that supports me not only at the event but also the time it takes away from valuable family time! I also want to thank the teams, large and small, that volunteer their time to support the Seattle bike racing scene. Volunteers often step up beyond the time they originally committed to make the day a bigger success. I really appreciate your support!

I think USAC Officials secretly care more about racing than many racers. They work long days, in bad conditions, with little compensation. If you enjoy your bike racing, please take time to thank an official. If you think you were scored wrong or issued an infraction you didn't deserve, I encourage you to take a deep breath before vocing your concern. Remember you are talking to someone that is there for the love of the sport and not riches or glory. I am sure they want to hear your concern but address is with some class.

Scoring services support many of our races and they bring a huge level of sanity to make results accurate. We are lucky to have some great tech available to make your results timely and proper.

So to all the staff that make the events happen, you guys rock!!!

Thank you,

Travis Dougan, Race Director
